Falcons announce death of Ring of Honor member Jeff Van Note

The Atlanta franchise shared the sad news regarding their long-serving former offensive lineman, who passed away at the age of eighty. Having joined the organization following a selection in the 1969 draft, the former Alabama linebacker transitioned to snapping the ball and spent eighteen years with the club before concluding his playing career after the 1986 season.

During his storied professional tenure, he earned six Pro Bowl selections, achieved second-team All-Pro honors twice, and appeared in 246 contests, ultimately earning induction into the organization's Ring of Honor decades later.
