F1 reveals 2027 calendar as Monaco joins expanded sprint schedule

Formula 1 has published the itinerary for the 2027 championship, mapping out a 24-event schedule that concludes in Abu Dhabi. The framework expands the sprint format significantly across the campaign, raising the total count of sprint events to ten and incorporating the Monaco Grand Prix into that shortened race roster.

Proceedings will launch in the Middle East with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 14, restoring its role at the head of the running order. It will immediately link with Saudi Arabia as a back-to-back pairing, leaving the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne to follow as the third round of the year.
