England bat Pakistan out of third Test before Robinson moves in for the kill

England stand on the verge of completing a 3-0 series whitewash against Pakistan at Edgbaston, having firmly seized command of the third Test across the opening two days. Although Harry Brook, Dan Lawrence, and Jamie Smith each fell short of individual hundreds, the hosts established an overwhelming advantage following an opening-day batting debacle by the tourists.

Ollie Robinson swiftly intensified England's dominance by claiming two victims in his very first over. Heading into Friday, which represents the lone day of the match to have completely sold out tickets, spectators may witness the conclusion of the contest despite uncertainty over whether the stadium will be entirely packed.

Joe Root's side requires just eight more wickets to seal the victory, while Pakistan face a daunting deficit, needing a further 268 runs simply to avoid an innings defeat after reaching 52 for two.
