
England avoided both India and the defending champions Australia in the preliminary stage of the upcoming 2027 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup. Led by Harry Brook, the squad has been placed into a group alongside co-hosts South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and an incoming qualifier.
The preliminary schedule kicks off against Bangladesh on 8 October, followed by matches in Windhoek, Gqeberha, and Harare. The tournament itself culminates with the final fixture scheduled for 21 November in Johannesburg.
