During Monday evening's matchup against the Suns, Warriors veteran Draymond Green reached a notable milestone by picking up the 26th ejection of his professional career. The sequence began when Khaman Maluach collided with Green, prompting the forward to bring him down with a tackle rather than letting the minor contact go.
Following that initial altercation, Green engaged in a physical confrontation with Dillon Brooks that involved twisting his jersey around him.
Officials handed Green a double technical foul for his actions, leading to his early exit from the contest. With this latest disqualification, Green sits just three ejections away from tying Rasheed Wallace's all-time mark of 29 career ejections.
While Wallace required 16 seasons to accumulate that total, Green has reached 26 ejections in his 15th year, and league officials have yet to announce whether a suspension will follow.
