Dolphins rookie Caleb Douglas leads NFL in key wide receiver metric

Miami Dolphins rookie wideout Caleb Douglas produced an eye-catching pro debut, racking up five receptions for 94 yards to top his squad in catches. Despite his individual success, Miami suffered a 27-13 defeat against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.

The former Florida Gators and Texas Tech collegiate standout garnered a nomination for Rookie of the Week following his record-setting performance. Douglas, who entered the league as a third-round selection alongside fellow rookie wide receiver Chris Bell, emerged as a standout contributor for Miami alongside college teammate Jacob Rodriguez.
