After participating in a limited capacity during Wednesday's workout in Napa, California, the edge defender was downgraded to absent for Thursday's practice session.

Miami opted to remain on the West Coast rather than fly back home, giving coach Jeff Hafley extended time with the group ahead of Sunday.
