Dhiraj sets Asian Games record, tops recurve qualification; India finish second in team events

Dhiraj Bommadevara opened his Asian Games campaign in exceptional fashion by breaking the men's recurve qualification record with a total of 698 points. His stellar performance placed him at the summit of the standings and secured a direct path into the second round of the elimination draw.

Meanwhile, Chikitha Taniparthi led the charge in the women's compound division by capturing the top qualification spot with 705 points.
