Delhi recalls Sarthak to Ranji squad

Sarthak Ranjan has earned a recall to the Delhi squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season opener. Selectors chose a sixteen-player group following their meeting at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday, setting up an opening fixture against Bengal in Kalyani on October 11.

Ayush Badoni remains at the helm as captain, supported by vice-captain Yash Dhull.

The thirty-year-old opening batter previously appeared in two matches for Delhi during the 2018 campaign and recently secured an IPL contract with the Kolkata Knight Riders earlier this year. Key figures including head coach Vijay Dahiya, secretary Ashok Sharma, and Cricket Advisory Committee leader Sarandeep Singh participated in the selection discussions.
