Deion Sanders Reacts to Recruiting Concerns After Decommitment

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders addressed reporters on Tuesday regarding his 2027 recruiting class, noting that he maintains weekly communication with committed players despite recent team struggles. Even though the Buffaloes suffered a five-game losing skid this autumn, the program's upcoming pledge group experienced only a single decommitment on October 27 before halting the downward slide against Kansas State.

The 2027 recruiting group has climbed significantly in national rankings compared to the previous cycle's finish under Sanders. Headlined by four-star quarterback Andre Adams and supported by prospects like four-star offensive lineman Dewey Young, the current commits span eleven different states without drawing locally from Colorado.

Sanders now has roughly one month remaining before the early signing period to secure the class.
