Colorado has finally revealed the identities of three defensive backs dismissed by head coach Deion Sanders following a 41-7 defeat against Northwestern earlier this season. The players removed from the roster due to detrimental conduct are Jah Jah Boyd, Paul Omodia, and Justin Eaglin, all of whom had transferred to the program prior to the current campaign.
Their profiles were scrubbed from the school's online roster ahead of a scheduled homecoming matchup against Texas Tech. Among the group, Boyd had emerged as a standout performer early in the schedule, earning praise from his coach following a strong outing against Weber State.
Sanders defended his decision regarding the dismissals as a necessary disciplinary measure, stating that such roster turnover has occurred annually during his tenure.
