Deion Sanders address Julian Lewis' future as Colorado's quarterback

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders indicated that the return of quarterback Julian Lewis to the starting lineup rests entirely on the player himself. Lewis, who opened the season as the starter for four games, has been sidelined since being replaced by Isaac Wilson during a contest against Baylor on September 26.

While Sanders dismissed claims of unfair treatment, he declined to provide specifics regarding Lewis's practice performance or potential future role. Wilson has struggled during his tenure as the starter, including a recent loss to Oklahoma State where he was eventually relieved by Kaneal Sweetwyne.

The Buffaloes currently hold a 2-5 record and remain winless in conference play.
