Reaction from Colts trading franchise trench pillars: Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner during tough day

The Indianapolis Colts have traded away two of their most influential veteran leaders and team captains, DeForest Buckner and Quenton Nelson. Both Pro Bowl linemen had banners honoring them displayed at their home stadium.

Nelson was sent to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fourth-round pick. This move comes as the Colts struggle with a 2-5 record and appear to be shifting toward a rebuilding phase.
