De'Zhaun Stribling to reportedly miss at least a month due to ankle injury after leaving 49ers' Week 1 win over Rams

The San Francisco 49ers began their campaign with an emphatic 27-7 triumph over the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, but the victory came with a notable setback. First-year player De'Zhaun Stribling exited the contest after suffering a deltoid sprain in his ankle.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that the player managed to steer clear of an Achilles issue, though reports indicate Stribling is projected to sit out for a minimum of four weeks while the exact recovery schedule remains indefinite.

San Francisco controlled the matchup despite the early injury, supported by an imposing defensive display spearheaded by linebacker Fred Warner, who returned from a severe physical setback. Offensive tackle Trent Williams completely contained Los Angeles's high-profile acquisition Myles Garrett, preventing the standout pass rusher from recording any statistics on the day as the Niners secured the twenty-point win.
