Daniel Jones struggles in Week 1 loss to Ravens

The Indianapolis Colts kicked off their 2026 campaign on a sour note, falling 41-23 to the Baltimore Ravens at Lucas Oil Stadium. Playing his first regular-season contest since a Week 14 Achilles rupture derailed his previous year and contributed to Indy missing the postseason, quarterback Daniel Jones experienced significant difficulties under center.

Even with an offense featuring veteran targets like Alec Pierce and a healthy roster for head coach Shane Steichen, Indianapolis could not keep pace.

Baltimore's offensive tandem of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry proved too overwhelming for the home team to contain. Indianapolis did manage a bright spot on the ground from Jonathan Taylor, who found the end zone twice before the halftime break, but it was insufficient to turn the tide against the visiting Ravens.
