Commanders vs. Cowboys Wednesday injury report: Chig Okonkwo held out

Heading into a Week 2 road clash with the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Commanders are managing several health concerns following their 24-22 opening defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles. Tight end Chig Okonkwo was kept out of Wednesday's practice session.

Meanwhile, defensive lineman Dorance Armstrong made his return to the line, while an unnamed linebacker was moved to injured reserve among several official roster changes.

Linebacker Frankie Luvu remains a question mark for Sunday after sustaining a minor groin strain during the third quarter at Lincoln Financial Field. Prior to his departure, Luvu logged four tackles and a sack across 29 snaps.

Head coach Dan Quinn voiced support for Mike Sainristil and noted that Trey Amos is not guaranteed to be back by Week 5, while quarterback Jayden Daniels conducted his scheduled media session.
