Christian Horner "not the right man" for Ferrari as Fred Vasseur likened to team legend

Formula 1 racing icon Emerson Fittipaldi has dismissed suggestions that Christian Horner should take charge at Ferrari, arguing that the former Red Bull chief lacks the necessary leadership qualities for the role. Instead, Fittipaldi strongly endorsed current boss Fred Vasseur, comparing his management style and strength to that of legendary former team principal Jean Todt and warning that removing Vasseur would be a mistake.

Additional skepticism regarding Horner came from former Red Bull head of operations Richard Hopkins, who questioned whether Horner possesses the same magnetic appeal to attract top engineering talent as designer Adrian Newey.
