Decathlon CMA CGM women's team takes shape as riders make cyclo-cross debut

The upcoming Decathlon CMA CGM women's road setup is beginning to take physical shape as incoming squad members test out their new gear in competitive cyclo-cross events over the weekend. Great Britain's Zoe Roche captured a victory at the National Trophy opening round held in Derby, while Laly Pichon secured a tenth-place finish at a C2 competition in Switzerland.

Both eighteen-year-old athletes are slated to transition to the road division next season under the management of Guillaume Bonnafond. While the organization has not yet formally publicized its full roster of twelve riders, recent reporting indicates that several competitors from mountain biking, track racing, and other squads are lined up to join the ProTeam as it builds toward a future goal of entering the WorldTour and the Tour de France Femmes.
