Cam Skattebo says he feared amputation after gruesome injury that ended his 2025 season

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo recently shared harrowing details regarding the severe ankle dislocation and tibia fracture that prematurely ended his 2025 campaign. In a newly released documentary about his recovery, the athlete revealed that he experienced a strange pregame premonition and genuinely worried medical personnel would need to amputate his foot after seeing the severity of the damage.

Despite the brutal nature of that setback, Skattebo has bounced back on the field. He recently delivered a stellar performance against the Houston Texans by rushing seventeen times for 124 yards and a touchdown, rebounding nicely from a prior benching following a fumble.
