Caitlin Clark and Fever’s historic season ends with a painfully familiar villain

Indiana concluded a record-setting offensive campaign on Thursday following a ninety-four to eighty-three defeat against Las Vegas in the deciding third matchup of their opening playoff round. The sixth-seeded squad averaged ninety-six points during the regular season behind standout performances from Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark, and Aliyah Boston, yet ultimately fell two games to one to the defending champions.

Las Vegas secured the series victory as A'ja Wilson delivered thirty-eight points and sixteen rebounds in the opening contest, while Indiana struggled to contain their opponents across the three postseason games.
