Pakistan cricketer Azam Khan recently responded with humor after a false social media report incorrectly claimed he had passed away. While viewing the fabricated Urdu article alongside his companions, the 28-year-old athlete delivered a sarcastic remark regarding his own national team career rather than showing frustration.
The video recording was shared online by Saad Bin Zafar and quickly circulated across digital platforms. This false claim follows a similar incident from December 2025 involving his father, Moin Khan, who also had to debunk rumors regarding his own well-being on social media.
Azam has not represented Pakistan since participating in the 2024 T20 World Cup, during which he last played an international fixture against the United States in Dallas. Over his career, he has accumulated 88 runs across 14 T20I appearances.
In domestic competition, he was acquired by Karachi Kings for PKR 3.25 crore during the February 2026 PSL auction, later contributing a 74-run performance against Rawalpindi before earning a retention for the upcoming campaign.
