Asian Games: Pakistan knock India out of men’s volleyball in quarter-final

Pakistan secured a commanding three-set victory over India to advance into the semi-finals of the Asian Games men's volleyball tournament. Spearheaded by captain Jehan Murad, the winning side triumphed with scores of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-18 during the encounter held on Thursday.

This outcome marks a historic milestone as Pakistan reaches the final four stage of the regional competition for only the second time overall, mirroring their previous achievement from 1962. Furthermore, the result extends a winning streak for Pakistan against their rivals in this multi-sport event, following previous victories in 2018 and 2023.
