Asian Games: Pranavi claims historic women’s golf gold

Pranavi Urs made history by securing the country's inaugural individual golf gold at the Asian Games held at the Kasugai Country Club East Course. She finished the tournament with a total score of 15-under 265, edging out Singapore competitor Shannon Tan and China participant Yin Ruaning by a single stroke to capture the top podium spot.

The champion overcame a difficult third hole and successfully navigated the final stretch to secure the victory. Additionally, the Indian collective composed of Pranavi, Disksha Dagar, and Aditi Ashok collected the team silver medal by finishing the event at 14-under par.
