Asa Tribe barred from England Lions tour under Ebola rules after Kenya trip

Glamorgan cricketer Asa Tribe has been excluded from the England Lions roster for their upcoming Caribbean series. The 22-year-old batter, who is eligible to play for Jersey, was denied entry to St Kitts and Nevis due to government health protocols regarding recent Ebola cases in East Africa.

Tribe had recently participated in three List A matches in Nairobi while representing Jersey. His travel history from that region triggered the travel restrictions that ultimately forced his withdrawal from the England Lions squad.
