Pens Points: Crosby makes more history in loss to Canadiens

Sidney Crosby achieved a significant milestone during Saturday's matchup, surpassing all previous NHL players for the most regular-season assists earned with a single organization. His 1,112th assist in a Pittsburgh uniform came on a power-play score by Erik Karlsson.

Meanwhile, the Penguins organization opted to send Rutger McGroarty down to their minor league affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Additionally, the team is integrating defenseman Spencer Stastney, who transitioned from a forward position earlier in his career to bolster the blue line with his skating and defensive awareness.
