Entering his fifteenth campaign in the league and his initial complete year representing Washington, veteran star Anthony Davis intends to postpone discussions regarding a potential contract extension until the conclusion of the schedule. During media day, the thirty-three-year-old athlete indicated he wants to focus entirely on his on-court performance before sitting down with club leadership to evaluate his long-term future.

Davis is currently slated to earn 58.5 million dollars for the upcoming term, alongside a player option worth 62.8 million dollars for the subsequent year, and remains eligible for a multi-year agreement worth up to 275 million dollars.
