Angel Reese’s Mom Ends 6 Month Social Media Hiatus With Reaction To Valkyries’ Championship Win

Angel Webb Reese ended a six-month absence from social media by posting a congratulatory message to the Golden State Valkyries following their victory in the 2026 WNBA Finals. The French forward Gabby Williams secured the title for the Valkyries with a 30-point and four-block performance in a 68-63 Game 7 win over the Atlanta Dream, earning the Finals MVP award in the process.

Angel Reese, who had previously enjoyed a strong stretch of three games, struggled in the decisive matchup, finishing with eight points and 12 rebounds while shooting 3-for-7 and committing four turnovers. Despite the loss, Reese expressed a positive outlook, stating that she is proud of her effort and views the setback as a temporary delay rather than a final defeat.

The Dream, which featured veteran DeWanna Bonner, will now focus on improving its offensive efficiency and paint play for the upcoming season.
