A rare win-win deal for Seahawks and Colts? Grading Quenton Nelson trade

The Seattle Seahawks have acquired veteran guard Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a 2027 third-round selection and a 2028 fifth-round pick. Seattle aims to bolster its offensive line to support Sam Darnold and improve a run-blocking unit that currently ranks 27th in the league.

This move provides the Seahawks with immediate interior protection while allowing Indianapolis to gain draft capital for future roster reconstruction. The transaction follows Seattle's recent victory over the Kansas City Chiefs and addresses depth concerns caused by injuries to Charles Cross, Jadarian Price, and Zach Charbonnet.
