A’ja Wilson will not face repercussions from WNBA for interaction with fan

Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson will escape league punishment following a courtside confrontation with a spectator during Game 2 of her team's postseason series against the Indiana Fever. Officials on the floor reviewed the incident and determined she remained inside the designated player escape lane instead of stepping into the seating rows, meaning an immediate ejection was not triggered.

Although she picked up a technical foul for unsportsmanlike conduct after reacting to a jeering fan near the baseline, league evaluators factored in postseason intensity and chose not to issue further discipline. Wilson will be active for the deciding Game 3 matchup on Thursday evening.
