Colts rule out Keenan Allen

Indianapolis will take the field on Sunday without wide receiver Keenan Allen for their matchup against Washington. The team officially sidelined him before the weekend after a groin issue kept him off the practice field on Friday.

Allen has accumulated 13 receptions, 100 yards, and one touchdown over the course of the current campaign. In response to his absence, the franchise promoted wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad following his appearance in last weekend's victory over Houston.

Westbrook-Ikhine joins a receiving corps that features Josh Downs, Laquon Treadwell, Deion Burks, Anthony Gould, Ashton Dulin, and Darius Slayton. Meanwhile, Dulin carries a questionable designation, and Slayton remains sidelined since joining the club last month.
