5 winners and losers from Patriots’ win over the Dolphins

The New England Patriots advanced to a five and three record following a narrow 24-19 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Quarterback Drake Maye bounced back from a sluggish start by throwing for three touchdowns and adding a rushing score, while running back Rhamondre Stevenson contributed 22 touches and secured the outcome by recovering an onside kick.

Defensive tackle Cory Durden also disrupted the opposition backfield with 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hits.

Despite the win, certain areas showed vulnerability as the team struggled early against zone coverage and kicker Andy Borregales missed a 40-yard field goal alongside shaky kickoff coverage. Reserve running back Corey Kiner stepped up in the absence of TreVeyon Henderson to generate some explosive ground gains.
