49ers injury updates: 2 players likely suffered high-ankle sprains

The San Francisco 49ers managed to secure a victory against the Miami Dolphins in Week 2, but the triumph came at a heavy cost to their receiving corps. Head coach Kyle Shanahan had to address multiple health setbacks following the contest, with wide receivers Demarcus Robinson and Mike Evans both suffering injuries during the matchup.

Robinson was forced to exit in the second quarter and needed to be carted off the field, while Evans ran into trouble later in the fourth quarter. These blows compound existing depth issues for the squad after rookie De'Zhaun Stribling was recently shifted to injured reserve following ankle surgery that is expected to sideline him for nearly ten weeks.
