2 rookies expected to wear defensive green dot in Commanders-Cowboys game - All aTwitter

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn confirmed that both Frankie Luvu and Chig Okonkwo are sidelined for the upcoming Week 2 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Both players exited early in the season opener and were subsequently held out of action after missing preparation time later in the week.

Their absence removes two high-profile starters from the lineup as Washington prepares for the divisional road clash. In their place, a pair of rookies are anticipated to take over defensive green dot communication duties for the contest.
