1 Fact, 1 Fiction in the Michigan-Penn State Disappointment Bowl

Kyle Whittingham and Matt Campbell are facing early pressure after a combined zero-and-five conference start for their programs. Both squads entered this matchup following consecutive defeats, with Penn State falling to USC, Wisconsin, and Northwestern, while Michigan suffered setbacks against Iowa and Minnesota.

Preseason expectations for Campbell included a potential playoff berth, but the team now sits at three-and-three with neither unit ranked inside the top twenty-five. Meanwhile, the Wolverines are adjusting to life without Sherrone Moore and must navigate a difficult slate that includes the conference's top teams.

Despite Rocco Becht struggling in league play with two touchdowns and three interceptions, his overall resume remains more established than Bryce Underwood's.
