Penn State must prove offensive showing vs. USC was not a fluke

Penn State enters a critical matchup against Michigan following a productive offensive performance against USC. While the Nittany Lions averaged 30.5 points per game this season, their scoring has dipped below 24 points throughout conference play.

Quarterback Rocco Becht faces a significant challenge against a Michigan defense that allows only 146.8 passing yards and 15.8 points per contest. Although the Wolverines have recorded 12 sacks, Penn State has surrendered only seven sacks all year, setting up a key battle in the trenches.

The Nittany Lions must demonstrate that their recent success was not simply a result of facing a weak USC defense.
