T. Natarajan traded to Sunrisers Hyderabad for spinner Zeeshan Ansari ahead of IPL 2027

Sunrisers Hyderabad has finalized a player swap with Delhi Capitals, bringing back left-arm pacer T. Natarajan for the upcoming 2027 Indian Premier League season.

The deal involves sending spinner Zeeshan Ansari to the Delhi franchise. Natarajan, who previously represented Hyderabad from 2020 through 2024, returns to his former club for a valuation of 5 crore rupees after being acquired by Delhi for 10.75 crore rupees in 2025.

During his final season with the Sunrisers, the bowler secured 19 wickets to assist the team in reaching the championship round. Zeeshan Ansari, who joined Hyderabad in 2025 and claimed six wickets across ten appearances, will now bolster the Capitals' spin department following the departure of Kuldeep Yadav to the Lucknow Super Giants.

Ansari recently earned an India-A selection for a series in Sri Lanka following his performance in the 2025/26 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
