World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has opted for a selective approach to his commercial partnerships, prioritizing personal connections over maximizing his income.
Despite having the capacity to earn significantly more, the four-time major champion and 22-time PGA Tour winner has avoided deals with betting sites, car manufacturers, drink brands, and gaming companies. He explained that working with people he does not like would make his professional obligations unpleasant.
His current portfolio includes a partnership with Huntington Bank, which he maintains because of his relationship with founder Malcolm Holland. Scheffler's total earnings for the year were estimated by Forbes at $79 million, consisting of $49 million from tournament play and $30 million from sponsorships, calculated for the period leading up to the 2026 Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta.
