Giants' Cam Skattebo addresses viral video of epic arrival to MetLife ahead of SNF

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo turned heads ahead of Sunday night's season opener, showing up at MetLife Stadium at 5:50 p.m. behind the wheel of a massive truck while sporting Jaxson Dart's high school jersey.

The 24-year-old engaged with parking lot staff and energized fans shouting encouragement to No. 44 before the 8:20 p.m.

kickoff against the Dallas Cowboys. Addressing the viral entrance, Skattebo noted that he sees the stadium parking crew daily and considers them friends who recognize him no matter what vehicle he drives.

The game marked an emphatic comeback for Skattebo, who suffered a fractured tibia, dislocated right ankle, and torn deltoid ligament in October 2025. He punctuated the Giants' first score with his customary backflip and compiled 81 yards on 18 attempts, leading New York to a 28-20 victory over Dallas.

Dart contributed 54 rushing yards on 11 carries to bolster an offense that gained 394 total yards, including 165 on the ground. The 1-0 Giants next prepare to host the Los Angeles Rams, who enter the matchup following a 27-7 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers.
