Cardinals' Jacoby Brissett throws Michael Wilson under bus in defense of Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett recently addressed the slow offensive start of teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. by pointing out that fellow wide receiver Michael Wilson has also produced minimal numbers early in the 2026 season.

Brissett defended Harrison against outside criticism during a media session, noting that Wilson secured a substantial three-year extension worth seventy-five million dollars yet also finished a recent game with just two catches.

Through the first pair of contests for Arizona, tight end Trey McBride paces the squad in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. Meanwhile, both Harrison and Wilson trail several teammates in receiving production, including and multiple running backs, as the broader passing attack struggles to find its footing.
