Jayden Daniels tosses 7-yard TD, Commanders lead Rams 10-3

Washington secured the opening touchdown of Sunday's game against Los Angeles, moving ahead 10-3 early in the second quarter. Quarterback Jayden Daniels targeted former Rams receiver Van Jefferson for a 7-yard scoring strike with fourteen minutes remaining before halftime.

The pivotal moment of the drive came when running back Rachaad White bolted forty-five yards on a screen pass down to the 7-yard line. Earlier in the contest, Washington claimed the first points via a 37-yard field goal, which Los Angeles subsequently matched with a 33-yard kick to temporarily even the score.

This scoring connection marked the seventh passing touchdown of the season for Daniels.
