Philadelphia holds a narrow two-point edge as the opening period winds down against New York. Running back Saquon Barkley plunged across the goal line from three yards away to draw even with his former club inside the final minutes of the first quarter.
Following a penalty on the extra point attempt, head coach Nick Sirianni elected to cancel the kick and go for a two-point conversion from the one-yard line. Quarterback Joe Milton successfully rushed into the end zone, lifting the hosts ahead by a score of eight to six.
Earlier in the possession, Milton kept the chains moving with a nineteen-yard scamper on third down and added thirty more yards when cornerback Deonte Banks was penalized for pass interference against wide receiver Darius Cooper. Milton has completed two of his four pass attempts for seventeen yards during his initial appearance in a Philadelphia uniform, while the franchise attempts to extend its streak of thirteen consecutive home victories against these opponents.
