Aaron Donald return: Cam Skattebo issues message to Rams star defender ahead of MNF matchup

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is looking forward to the anticipated return of Aaron Donald in their upcoming Monday night meeting with the Los Angeles Rams. Donald, who ended his retirement the previous month, sat out the Rams' regular-season opener in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers.

Ahead of Donald's expected second-week comeback, Skattebo expressed respect for the three-time Defensive Player of the Year while noting that the veteran will need to be prepared after minimal recent practice and multiple seasons away from competition. The ball-carrier emphasized his readiness to collide directly with Donald if short-yardage situations require it.

Skattebo enters the matchup following an impressive showing in New York's victory over the Dallas Cowboys. In that contest, the sophomore running back tallied 81 rushing yards across 18 touches, found the end zone once, and averaged 3.5 yards following defensive contact.
