Brandon Aiyuk has initiated the process to resume his professional football career after a two-year absence. The wide receiver has retained Drew Rosenhaus as his representative to facilitate a potential return to the San Francisco 49ers, who currently maintain his contractual rights.

Aiyuk has officially submitted the necessary documentation for reinstatement, with plans to visit the team facility this Friday. He has been sidelined since sustaining multiple ligament injuries to his right knee during a contest against the Kansas City Chiefs on October 20, 2024.
