Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has officially stepped away from multi-day cricket, acknowledging that his long-held ambition of earning a Test cap is no longer attainable. Despite missing out on representing the country in the longest format, the veteran spinner expressed gratitude for his journey and emphasized that he remains fully driven to represent India in limited-overs fixtures.
Having last featured for the national side during a T20 international against the West Indies in August 2023, and having made his most recent fifty-over appearance earlier that same year against New Zealand, Chahal is now setting his sights on breaking back into both the one-day and T20 squads.
