Yankees-Red Sox fan brawl sees big punches in chaotic wild-card scene

During the Yankees' dominant postseason elimination of their historic rivals on Wednesday, a chaotic physical altercation broke out in the upper deck at Yankee Stadium, capturing widespread attention on social media. A supporter of New York wearing a black shirt exchanged heavy blows with multiple Boston backers before eventually being pushed away toward the exit while shouting obscenities.

Earlier in the evening at the venue, filmmaker Spike Lee was involved in a separate confrontation in the Legends Suite when a spectator demanded an inappropriate political remark during a selfie request, prompting stadium security to eject the individual. On the field, the visiting squad was decisively outscored across the two-game sweep, sending the victors forward to begin their next playoff series against Tampa Bay.
