Yankees news: Aaron Judge playoff roster debate nears decision

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is pushing to make the postseason roster for the upcoming Wild Card Series against the Boston Red Sox. Despite initial expectations that he would sit out due to a calf injury, Judge engaged in indoor hitting and throwing drills before facing pitcher Elmer Rodríguez in a live batting practice session.

Meanwhile, pitcher Cam Schlittler is preparing for another postseason run following his strong performance against Boston last year, while statistical modeling gives New York a slight edge with a 52.6 percent chance to advance.
