West Indies secured a comfortable victory over Bangladesh after successfully tracking down a target of 170 during the fourth innings. Brandon King anchored the chase with an unbeaten knock of 81, supported by John Campbell who contributed 49 runs as the pair combined for a century opening stand.
Bangladesh had earlier managed a total of 272 built on a century from Shadman Islam, though Jomel Warrican dismantled their lineup with five wickets while conceding 53 runs. Despite the home team taking a small first-innings advantage following efforts by Nayeem Hasan, their second innings collapsed for 142.
Roston Chase dismantled the batting order by claiming five wickets for 36 runs alongside Warrican's four dismissals. Following this result, West Indies held their eighth position in the World Test Championship standings while Bangladesh dropped one spot, allowing India to ascend to fourth place.
