Red Bull provides update on F1 radio issues vexing Max Verstappen

Red Bull has implemented significant modifications to resolve ongoing team radio difficulties that affected Max Verstappen during the Singapore and United States Grands Prix. Speaking at the Mexico Grand Prix, Laurent Mekies confirmed that internal diagnostics point toward a permanent fix and improved communication clarity for the weekend.

Mekies also acknowledged that the squad lacked necessary pace in Austin compared to prior strong weekends in Malaysia and Singapore, allowing Mercedes and Kimi to secure an advantage. During the opening practice sessions in Mexico, Verstappen finished inside the top five while teammate Isack Hadjar landed just outside it.
