Wolves announce new radio partner while Lynx playoff games are nowhere to be heard

The Timberwolves have reached an agreement to move their radio broadcasts back to WCCO-AM 830, ending a three-year stint with KFAN-FM 100.3. Alan Horton is slated to continue in his role as the radio voice of the franchise for his twentieth season, while Cal Soderquist returns as pre-game and post-game host.

Meanwhile, the WNBA franchise under the same ownership group finds itself without any audio coverage for its ongoing postseason run. Although regular-season telecasts were previously simulcast through iHeart Minneapolis prior to an early September break, no radio partner was secured for the final stretch of games or the playoffs.
