Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale recently voiced strong support for teammate Paige Bueckers, declaring that the star rookie deserves a spot on the 2026 All-WNBA First Team. Speaking after her squad bowed out of the opening round of the postseason against the Golden State Valkyries, Ogunbowale stated that dismissing Bueckers from the elite squad would prove the process is fixed, pointing to her stellar regular season numbers.
During the 2026 campaign, Bueckers posted averages of 20.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per contest, while hitting 51.2 percent from the floor and 41.0 percent from beyond the arc. Her contributions helped guide Dallas to a seventh-seeded finish and a 27-17 regular-season record, despite the team's early playoff exit following a tough shooting night in Game 3.
